EXPERIENCED FARM EQUIPMENT OPERATOR & LABORER
Location: Champion, NE
Compensation: $20-25 per hour
Timing: start as soon as possible
The role will include:
- General Field Work
- Tractor driving, row cultivation, tillage (moldboard plow, chisel plow, disc, vertical tillage), planting (grain drill, & no-till planter), mowing (field and ditches), harvesting (combine), spreading fertility, Semi Truck Hauling
- Day to day maintenance of tractors and equipment
- Operation and maintenance of center pivot irrigation systems
The ideal candidate will have much of the following experience:
- 2-4 years farming 200+ acres
- Organic farming experience
- Row crops, including corn, soy, wheat
- Basic understanding of grain bin operations and grain conditioning
- Regenerative agriculture mindset
- Understanding of Precision Ag systems on equipment
- Commercial driver’s license
